Recording Functions

Guayadeque has the ability to Record from Shoutcast or any stream you provide. It is a powerful function to add to a music collection.

The functions are

Enable Recording
Save To - Choose your save area
Format - Choose between MP3, OGG or Flac
Quality - Choices of Very High, High, Normal, Low and Very Low
Split Tracks
Delete Tracks shorter that X seconds - I have this set to 90 seconds and it does great in eliminating any commercials.

Recording is very easy to use. Once you have your settings the way that you want for your recording start up a stream session using Shoutcast or any one that you add. Once it is playing just click the record button and it will start and keep on recording until you stop it or the stream is lost.
