Guayadeque Development

Juan Rios, known as Anonbeat, began working on Guayadeque in August 2008 and released the 0.0.1 version in March of 2009. In February of 2010 Anonbeat asked for help in test at this Ubuntu forum stating:

Im the developer of this player and If you dont mind I would like to ask for help on testing. For the ones of you that dont know Guayadeque, it is a music player with the aims to be easy to use and fast even for huge music collections.

Since then Guayadeque has had 3 major release updates and to date 1332 SVN updates and over 5000 responses at the support thread.

The current stable version is 0.2.7

Anonbeat is heavily involved in all aspects of Guayadeque as the developer and ongoing updates. He is currently continuing Portable Device Support and MPRIS2 standards within Guayadeque.

If there were no Guayadeque, we would still be searching for a music player in Linux to meet our needs.
